Raised the trusses by 1.5 meters – the most important and transformative design in the barn, altering the sense of volume. Great clients…listened and agreed! You can see the threshing window cill which was just above te old floor level.

Bespoke RVN joinery – study coming along nicely. Finned verticals sandwiched between bulhead and top, chamferred oak top and subtle breakfronted set of drawers with cupboards either side. This iconic light by Jieldé always looks amazing. We also found a gorgeous double sided desk and we think our client will use all the time!

We removed the staircase to one of the houses and you can see a new 1st floor balustrade enclosing the opening. What is fun is that one can stand beneath this and look up 3 floors to the skylight above. A great deal of time was spent with our client working out the flow, connections and sightlines when combining these two houses.
